Provisional Licensed Mental Health Counselor

More about me

Hi! My name is Nisha Bagaloo. I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI, #IMH 1784) in the state of Florida. I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University. It’s not always easy to open up to someone about the things you’re struggling with, especially when you haven’t been able to make much sense of what’s been happening yourself. Often times, it’s the fear of judgement that forces people to continue bearing their burden alone and continue struggling in silence. I know how torturous carrying that burden can be, but it doesn’t have to be so hard, and you don’t have to go through it alone.

I have experience working with couples, individuals, families, and children from a variety of therapeutic approaches such as, Family Systems Dynamics, Solution-focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities. I work with a wide variety of challenges that the client wants to overcome. I specialize in working with stress and anxiety, trauma, depression, co-parenting and parenting issues. In addition, extensive core-belief work related to healing of traumatic experiences.

I became a therapist to empower others to help remind client’s that they are control of their lives. It is very important to me that therapy be a collaborative and comfortable experience in which you are heard and your goals are in alignment with where you want to be. It’s equally important to me your stories and I keep in mind your values and concerns as we work together in finding solutions. No one deserves to struggle in silence regardless of what stories they may have.

My hope is that you will leave our telehealth sessions with a reduced feeling of anxiety, stress, and more in control of your life. Prioritize your mental health and I’ll help lead you through the journey to empowerment. Are you ready for the change?
