Karen Morales, MS

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

More about me

My name is Karen L Morales, I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. I received my BA of Arts in Psychology and MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Baypath University in Longmeadow, MA.

Since entering the field I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. I enjoy using a collaborative approach to counseling that incorporates and empower clients to find their ability to meet their greatest level of resilience and positive outcomes. I believe life is filled with challenges and the way we cope can vary widely.

I draw upon a variety of therapy techniques tailored to your needs. These include Mindfulness, Person-centered therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), this structured approach helps identify and change negative thought patterns, making it particularly effective for anxiety, depression, and PTSD. My goal is to establish a safe space where you feel comfortable opening up and exploring your concerns at your own pace and to work alongside with you to develop personalized tools that can help you navigate life stressors effectively.

DTAA is a space for exploring your emotions, accepting the struggles of life, and fulfilling your ultimate goals to improve your overall quality of life. I am available via Telehealth or office in person. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you.
