 Hello, my name is Patrick Furlong. I am a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with a Master’s of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling. My ultimate aspiration is to obtain my doctoral degree in the field of mental health.

My background has been working with individuals, families, children veterans and first responders using a variety of therapeutic approaches. With being a veteran as a combat medic I can apply a dedicated approach in working with individuals with an extensive assortment of difficulties in their everyday life such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, low self-esteem, stressors, and relationship issues. 

I have worked using multiple CBT and DBT skills for trauma-based clients to include global human trafficking, domestic violence, substance abuse, while working towards a client to become their authentic self again.

My goal is to help guide anyone that has suffered or is suffering through the multiple disorders in mental health. Mental health is a challenging enough on our own with the help and guidance with empathetic approach that I offer in a calm state, providing non-judgmental atmospheres for all.
