Welcome! I’m Stephanie Nunez, a Registered Mental Health Counselor intern in Port Saint Lucie, FL. In 2013, I graduated with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health. I work with adolescents and adults. Across all ages, I help people experience relief from relationship problems, those with issues with executive functioning due to anxiety, depression, ADHD, BPD, substance abuse, and eating disorders often through self-understanding and self-compassion. I also specialize in couples therapy helping with communication issues, parenting conflicts, and those aiming to enhance their connection and family harmony.
My personalized approach is designed to help you gain the tools and confidence to face life’s challenges. My journey of healing and restoration through counseling deeply impacts my work and allows me to come alongside my clients in a way that is both open and hopeful.
I was born in Queens, New York, and raised in Miami, Florida. I am a United States Marine Corps veteran. As a veteran, I understand the unique experiences and challenges veterans face. I take pride in helping veterans overcome PTSD, depression, suicide prevention, anxiety disorders, and manage stress levels. We can focus on major life transitions, be it relationships, changes in health, or impacts from life events.
I am flexible with my availability, offering services via telehealth and office in-person. I am here to support your journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life. Let my judgment-free, genuine, holistic, and assertive approach help you rebuild your relationships, whether it’s with food, your partner, or yourself. I am passionate and hopeful about seeing people become happy and reach their fullest potential. I understand that seeking help can be a challenging step, and I’m here to offer a compassionate and supportive space for you. Make an appointment today, and let’s begin this journey together.
