More about me

Welcome to my corner of guidance and support! I'm Jenella Brown, a dedicated substance abuse counselor with over 8 years of experience. Rooted in my Christian faith, I have pursued academic excellence to better serve those battling addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration with a minor in Criminal Justice, setting the foundation for my understanding of systemic issues surrounding substance abuse. Furthering my education, I earned a Master of Arts in Human Service with a minor in Addiction and Recovery. Currently, I am on the verge of achieving my MCAP licensure and I am passionately pursuing a doctorate degree in Behavioral Health Management.

My journey in counseling stems from a deeply personal place – having witnessed the impact of substance use within my own family, I am driven by a profound desire to guide others towards recovery. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding; I meet clients where they are, fostering a safe space for growth and healing without judgment.

As a counselor, I excel in building rapport and fostering genuine connections with individuals. My mission is simple yet powerful: to inspire and guide individuals back to their true selves through faith, hope, and love. I specialize in evidence-based therapies such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Group Therapy.

Whether you're at the beginning of your journey or seeking continued support, I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Together, let's reclaim control and embrace the path to a fulfilling, substance-free life. God Bless You!
