My name is Delta R. Ralph, and I am a Registered Couple and Family Therapist Intern. I received my bachelor's degree in human family development studies and my master's in couple and family therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.
My passion is to help others, and my goal is to have clients release frustrations, unpack and process their emotions, delve into knowing themselves, leave healthier than when they came in, assist in their growth, and create a safe space to talk and work together towards treatment goals. My vision is to see couples, individuals, and families heal from whatever is tearing them apart to a life full of fulfillment. Also, I have worked with substance abuse and addiction groups, teenagers, and adults. I practice therapy methods using tools within the cognitive behavioral and solution focus, along with acceptance and commitment.
I was born and raised in Miami, FL, and am a retired U.S. Army SGT who did two overseas tours and various duty stations. I understand to see war as I experienced Desert Shield/Storm. I can help Veterans learn coping skills, process their emotions, and heal from past trauma by reframing negative thoughts and changing them to positivity.
Everyone is busy, so my appointments are flexible, and I work around your busy lifestyle. I am available via telehealth, office in-person, and community outreach. Therapy is not easy; the good, the bad, and the ugly come forth. However, if you work the therapy process, therapy will work. I want to serve you. Make an appointment today, and let's begin the healing you deserve. Thank you.
